Two grounds.

One design, shown on a light ground and a dark one. The structure, the sequence, the type and every component are identical: what changes is the surface the argument is printed on, and the handful of places where a band inverts against it.

Revision 5, 15 October. Narrowed from five directions to two. Newsreader throughout, 16px body on an 8px scale. Shared across both: the slow word-by-word hero over a video ground, the results scale, the owners list, the funnel blueprint, the offer stack map, the slat band of client work on a night sky, and a full-bleed client photograph closing the owners section. Photography is real client work in full color; duotone is used only where a picture has to sit behind type. Every text node on a solid ground passes measured contrast, and the nodes over photographs were checked against the rendered pixels.

The Proof - Light

Newsreader on sand #EFE6D6

The argument printed rather than projected. Ink on a warm beige ground, with the duotones given a press treatment so they read as photographs on uncoated stock instead of holes in the page. Two bands invert against it: the answer, "Stop Guessing. Grow on Purpose.", drops to midnight, and so does the client work on its night sky. The funnel blueprint is a dark board here. Quieter, and easier to read at length.

The Proof - Dark

Newsreader on midnight #0E0819

The same argument with the lights down. Parchment on midnight, which gives the flame accent and the client photography more to push against. The inversions run the other way: the answer becomes the one light band, the return figure sits on its own sheet of paper, and the funnel blueprint is drawn on white. The close ends both on light.
